  • DermaPen microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, which prompts the body to build new collagen. It is used for texture, fine lines, scarring and overall firmness, and works best as a series rather than a single visit.

  • It varies by treatment. Dermaplaning and microcurrent have essentially none. Microneedling and deeper chemical peels can leave skin pink, tight or flaking for a few days. Your esthetician will tell you what to expect before you book.

  • Anyone pregnant, on isotretinoin, with active infection or open lesions in the treatment area, or with certain skin conditions should hold off or check with a physician first. Tell your esthetician about any medications or recent treatments.

  • Most results build over a series rather than arriving all at once. Your esthetician will recommend a course after seeing your skin.
